Founder, President, Accredited Passive House Certifier and Trainer Andrew Peel

‍ Andrew has a tremendous depth of knowledge and experience in building energy performance and technology assessment and modelling. This includes managing the UK Government’s innovative carbon saving technologies scheme and the Energy Saving Trust’s Best Practice Helpline. He also had the good fortune of working at the Passive House Institute, developing algorithms for the PHPP. Andrew is a former founding board member of Passive House Canada and tireless, passionate advocate for Passive House.

Accredited Passive House Certifier and Trainer Pierre-André Santin

Pierre-André has over 20 years experience managing large-scale technology projects. His lifetime passion for architecture and environmental stewardship led him to Passive House building design. As a Passive House Building Certifier accredited by the Passivhaus Institut in Darmstadt, Germany, Pierre-Andre consults on both design and certification projects. He works with builders, engineering firms, architects, developers and government organizations on ultra-low energy single family, multi-residential, mixed and special use Passive House projects. Trained as a Passive House Trades Person, Pierre-André also advises local field teams on proven energy efficient detailing and construction techniques. ‍ Pierre-André is the founder and managing principal of MIZU Passive House Consulting in Vancouver, British Columbia. Pierre collaborates closely with PeelPHC to deliver a variety of leading-edge Passive House projects.

Accredited Passive House Certifier Monte Paulsen

Monte is the founder of the Climate Ready Buildings Group. The Climate Ready Buildings Group advises policymakers on tactics for accelerating building adaptation, building owners on strategies for retrofits, and architects/developers on tactics for long-term resilience. They also provide Passive House consulting, PHI Building Certification, and embodied carbon calculations.
